KIRSTEN VAUGHAN


Kirsten’s interest in the gym was initially driven by probably the most common reason—to lose weight. 

This was the beginning of an unexpected journey of self-discovery that morphed into becoming a national level athlete. Through this, Kirsten developed a passion for more knowledge in health & wellness which she felt compelled to share with others. This led to a life changing decision—to leave behind a successful professional career in another field and retrain as a personal trainer & coach.

Kirsten’s approach offers so much more than physical training. She teaches and nurtures her clients, empowering them to let go of negative body image & limiting beliefs, supporting them to make sustainable, long term changes towards a healthier, happier life.

Outside of Koha, Kirsten loves open roads on her motorbike, sunshine & the beach, public speaking & most recently a spot of Brazilian dancing!

  • Helping a Type 2 diabetic client reverse nerve damage in their feet, side-stepping impending foot amputation alongside a number of other major improvements in health and quality of life

  • Supporting clients to unleash physical and mental strength

  • Inspiring clients to move past negative beliefs & embrace a positive approach to their health & wellbeing

  • Participating in a 24 hour aerobathon for charity – who knew bouncing around at 1am could be fun!
