PERSONAL TRAINER
Amy Freeman
Amy has over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, but what sets her apart is how she helps people change. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) and a background in personal training and group fitness, her coaching goes far beyond workouts and meal plans.
She works with people who feel stuck. The ones who know what to do, but can’t seem to stay consistent. The ones who start strong, fall off track, and blame themselves. The ones who feel like their body isn’t responding the way it used to.
Amy helps you understand why.
Her approach focuses on understanding your body in a practical way, rebuilding identity, regulating the nervous system, and simplifying change into steps you can actually stick to even on your hardest days. She is especially passionate about helping women navigate midlife changes like low energy, weight gain, poor recovery, and feeling disconnected from their body.
Amy began her career at Les Mills Christchurch, working across front desk, sales, group fitness, and personal training before gaining international experience in the Middle East. She has taught a wide range of group fitness classes, giving her a strong ability to connect with and motivate people of all levels.
Her coaching is honest, practical, and grounded in real life. No extremes. No starting over every Monday. Just a clear, sustainable way forward.
